Steelwork for Hospital Refurbishment
Shufflebottom ‘s structural steelwork is included in Interserve’s major refurbishment works at Merthyr Tydfil’s Prince Charles Hospital, in south Wales.
Cwm Taf University Health Board engaged Interserve for £85 million-worth of work on the scheme, which is costing about £119 million. The hospital is remaining open during the works, which require clever logistics management.
The structural steelwork pictured is a deck for kitchen plant, built on top of demountable cabins which are to house temporary kitchens. There is also an external staircase.
