Shufflebottom helps Bristol Waste Company help Bristol to waste nothing
Progress is well underway at the Bristol Avonmouth Waste Processing Plant: the structural steel and cladding Shufflebottom has delivered for the new 2,160 sq. metre Waste Processing Plant Building is already constructed and looking fantastic. Once completed, the building will be prepared ready to function as a fully automated Materials Recycling Facility.
Shufflebottom enjoys a landmark moment at Pentre Awel
Shufflebottom enjoyed a landmark moment in our long company history when, on 29th February, we celebrated the completion of the steel structure for the first zone of Carmarthenshire’s flagship, multi-million-pound development at Pentre Awel, Llanelli, being delivered by Carmarthenshire County Council.

Since its inception in 1977, Shufflebottom has been growing its presence on the ground across all areas of the UK. Today it is known as one of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of steel-framed buildings for the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors.
This is down to the quality of our product but also the expertise and dedication of all members of Team Shufflebottom. Most of the Team is based at our Headquarters in Cross Hands, Wales but we also have two wonderful sales people on the ground: in Scotland and in the East of England. This month we’re giving a big shout out to our man in the East of England, Daniel (Dan) Lacey.
Built to impress
The wait is over. After twenty-four months of the design and planning stage, and twelve months’ build stage, the much-anticipated new, world-class Sinclair Jaguar LandRover (JLR) facility at Swansea Vale is now open.
A first for Shufflebottom with environmental pioneer Hillier Nurseries
At Shufflebottom we’re delighted that we were selected by renowned environmental pioneer, Hillier Nurseries Limited, to deliver not one, but three projects during 2022. This is the first time we have supplied Hillier Nurseries Ltd with our steel-framed buildings and we couldn’t be more proud.

Shufflebottom and KIER – delivering a lasting legacy for Newport
We’re starting the New Year with some great news that we didn’t get around the sharing at the end of 2023! We’re proud to report that we’ve been commissioned by our client, Cardiff HQ’d KIER Wales and West, to work with them on the delivery of a new integrated Health and Wellbeing Centre in Newport East, named 19 Hills Health & Wellbeing Centre.
