Latest news from Shufflebottom
As one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of steel-framed buildings, we’ve got lots of news that we’re proud to share. From business awards to building competitions we hope you find this section interesting.
Shufflebottom and Future Generations
We endeavour to take our social, corporate and environmental responsibilities very seriously, and as part of this ethos, we have forged strong links with education providers in the local area, including Swansea University, Coleg Sir Gar, local primary schools and Young Farmers.
Sculpture and Steel
Shufflebottom is delighted to announce that one of its steel-framed agricultural buildings now sits proudly on the fields of a Surrey farm, owned by world-famous creative artist, the sculptor, Nic Fiddian-Green.
Collective strength
Shufflebottom is delighted to share the news that it has recently been appointed by Knights Brown to manufacture, galvanise, and erect the steel framework for a state-of- the-art manufacturing and distribution facility they are delivering for their client, Associated British Ports (ABP) at the Port of Newport.
Setting Sail
Shufflebottom has embarked on an exciting one-off project – the first of its kind in the UK – to manufacture a replica schooner which will take pride of place in the transformation and redevelopment of the harbour at Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, the life blood of the highly-anticipated Wales International Coastal Centre (WICC).
New Additions to the Moody Cow Family
Since 2017 Bargoed Farm has been giving a warm Welsh welcome and showcasing the best of Wales all in one place. The original farm has diversified to accommodate a farm shop, butchery, bistro, fishing, camping, caravans and glamping in the most glorious landscape in the heart of the Ceredigion countryside between Aberaeron and Newquay.
Merthyr Tydfil Bus Station – the sequel
Like many great stories and Hollywood movies, our initial blog posted on 3rd March 2020, about Shufflebottom’s involvement with the development of the new Merthyr Tydfil Bus Station, warrants a sequel. In fact, we signed off that first post with the words: “More news and images as the project progresses at speed!”
